- M.S. Thesis: "Computational Studies of Glucoamylase Structure" - Structure/function relation-ships in the catalytic and starch-binding domains of glucoamylase. Characterization of the structural similarities in glucoamylases by multisequence alignment following hydrophobic cluster analysis and active site analysis.
- Structural analysis in glucoamylase engineering. Interpretation and/or design of pH, thermostability, and selectivity mutants and of deletion mutants for structural characterization of the starch-binding domain.
- Technical support of graduate and undergraduate students in the conformational analysis of disaccharides and glycosylated peptides and in computer analysis of protein sequence and structure. Administration of software locker.
